Summary: The role of 1st/2nd Line Support Engineer involves providing IT support in an SC Security Cleared environment near Salisbury, Wiltshire. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and maintain IT services while providing assistance to users via the IT Service Desk.
  • Handle and manage incoming calls to the IT Service Desk and log incidents within the Service Management tool.
  • Ensure all IT incidents and service requests are resolved efficiently and recorded appropriately.
  • Work in an SC Security Cleared environment, requiring current SC/DV clearance or eligibility to obtain it.

Key Skills:

  • Good knowledge and experience with ITIL v3 or v4.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Windows 10 and Windows 11.
  • Experience with Intune and antivirus software.
  • Knowledge of desktop installation and supporting desktop PCs, including hardware.
  • Understanding of software licensing, particularly Microsoft Volume Licensing (desirable).
