Key Responsibilities:
- Run large scale RFP events.
- Create RFP documents.
- Provide support and advice on developing contract and tender specifications.
- Prepare written financial and administrative reports, including tender evaluations.
- Negotiate contracts and build strong relationships with suppliers.
- Manage contracts, including renewal tracking and maintaining the contract register.
- Analyse volume reports to ensure contract benefits.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance cost efficiency and profitability.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and legal regulations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation.
- Identify and manage risks within the procurement process.
Key Skills:
- Significant experience in leading large tendering events.
- Prior experience as a Senior Category Lead or Senior Buyer.
- Effective communication and engagement skills with stakeholders.
- Ability to collate, organise, and analyse data related to commercial issues.
- Capability to scope, deliver, and execute robust contractual agreements.
- CIPS qualification or working towards it is advantageous.
