Summary: Our client, a leading global private bank catering to high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) families, is seeking a Private Banking Assistant for a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role involves supporting private bankers with various client-focused operational tasks and requires strong organizational and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience working closely with private bankers and HNW clients, along with a solid understanding of private banking processes and compliance. Immediate availability is essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support private bankers with a broad range of client-focused operational tasks including account openings, daily account monitoring, and order inputs.
- Act as one of the client's primary contact points.
- Help to resolve client queries.
- File/record all client documentation.
- Monitor risk dashboards/MI and resolve alerts before deadlines.
- Produce presentation material for client review meetings and pitches.
Key Skills:
- Experience working closely with a private banker/relationship manager.
- Direct interaction with HNW clients.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Good knowledge of investment products and asset classes.
- Understanding of private banking administrative processes and FCA compliance/regulatory requirements.
