Summary: This role is for an onsite VFX Production Coordinator based in Bristol city centre, requiring applicants to commute to the office five days a week. The position involves managing daily production workflows and facilitating communication among artists, producers, and supervisors in the visual effects industry. Key Responsibilities:
- Track VFX shots, assets, and versions throughout the pipeline
- Coordinate communication between VFX artists, supervisors, external vendors, editorial, and clients
- Assist with organising and maintaining project-related documentation
- Keep Flow (formerly ShotGrid) up to date with accurate and timely information
- Organise reviews and dailies, and distribute client and supervisor feedback notes
- Manage file deliveries, turnovers, and version control
- Take clear, detailed notes during reviews and ensure feedback is accurately actioned
- Assist with onboarding artists and coordinating resources as needed
- Schedule meetings, appointments, and maintain calendars for the production team
- Handle general office administration and production support tasks
- Provide general support to the Producers and Supervisors
Key Skills:
- Previous experience as a VFX Production Coordinator
- Familiarity with VFX pipelines and production tracking tools (Flow / ShotGrid preferred)
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams and clients
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Nice to have: Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience using Google Suite and Microsoft Excel
