Summary: The Transformation Engineer role is an 11-month contract position based in the West Midlands, focusing on facilitating transformation workstreams with an emphasis on digital innovation within an automotive OEM. The engineer will be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of transformation projects, developing project plans, and supporting the deployment of innovative technologies. Strong project management and communication skills are essential for navigating complex organizational structures. The position is classified as inside IR35, with a pay rate of £31.47 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate transformation workstreams with a strategic focus on Digital Innovation.
- Facilitate end-to-end delivery of transformation projects, from scoping and planning.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, RAID logs, risk mitigations.
- Own project governance, reporting, and alignment with PMO standards.
- Track value delivery and maintain a benefits realisation plan.
- Support the development and deployment of innovative technologies and processes.
Key Skills:
- Strong background in manufacturing engineering, within final assembly operations.
- Project management capability (planning, RAID management, value tracking).
- Experience working within PMO frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and influence at multiple levels.
