Test Analyst

Summary: The role of Test Analyst involves supporting the Lead Tester in a significant cloud-based transformation program, primarily focused on AWS. The position requires collaboration within a technical environment to plan, prepare, and execute tests, ensuring quality and compliance throughout the testing lifecycle. The candidate will also contribute to Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT) and continuous improvement of testing processes. Immediate availability is preferred for this hybrid role, which requires travel to West Bromwich twice a week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Test Lead in planning and preparing test cases within Azure DevOps (ADO); experience in other test management tools such as Jira is also welcome.
• Execute tests in collaboration with technical teams across the full testing lifecycle.
• Contribute to Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT) on a cloud platform (primarily AWS).
• Provide input into continuous improvement of test processes and environments.
• Ensure quality and compliance across all testing deliverables.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience as a Test Analyst or OAT Tester in a cloud environment (AWS preferred).
• Strong technical understanding of cloud infrastructure and testing principles.
• Experience working with test management tools such as ADO or Jira.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, working closely with engineers and stakeholders.
