Summary: A leading global investment management organization is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to support a large-scale Oracle HCM Cloud transformation. The role requires strong functional expertise in key HCM modules and technical capabilities for designing integrations and reporting. The analyst will collaborate with various teams to deliver scalable HCM solutions in a complex global environment. This position is classified as inside IR35 and offers hybrid working arrangements with three days in London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead functional analysis and design across key Oracle HCM Cloud modules, including Core HR, Position Management, Recruiting, Absence, Talent, Performance, OTL and Workforce Compensation.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate strategic People & Culture objectives into high-quality functional and technical requirements.
  • Support the design and configuration of Job Architecture and Skills frameworks (desirable).
  • Produce high-quality functional specifications, user stories, mapping documents, data models and design artefacts.
  • Work with technical teams to design and validate HCM Extracts, HSDL loads, FastFormula, and related data/integration components.
  • Support reporting needs through SQL, BI Publisher and OTBI, ensuring robust data models and accurate outputs.
  • Work closely with Integration teams on Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and related integration patterns (desirable).
  • Contribute to Redwood/VBCS UI design, ensuring an improved user experience for global HR users.
  • Provide end-to-end support across the lifecycle, including requirements, design workshops, testing (SIT/UAT), deployment, training and hypercare.
  • Ensure governance, documentation and compliance standards are met across all deliverables.
  • Act as a key liaison between business, product, and technical teams, ensuring alignment, clarity and successful delivery.

  • Strong functional experience across Oracle HCM Cloud, including: Core HR, Position Management, Recruiting, Absence, Talent & Performance, OTL, Workforce Compensation.
  • Experience with designing HCM Extracts, HSDL, BI reporting logic and FastFormula.
  • Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with BI Publisher and OTBI.
  • Hybrid Techno-Functional BA with the ability to work closely with developers, architects and integration teams.
  • Experience supporting solution design across multiple HCM modules within a large, complex organisation.
  • Knowledge of Job Architecture/Skills frameworks (desirable).
  • Exposure to Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and workforce or HR integrations (desirable).
  • Experience with Redwood UX and/or VBCS preferable.
  • Strong workshop facilitation, requirements gathering, documentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience delivering within financial services or other regulated, global environments (beneficial).
