Summary: BAE Maritime Services is seeking a Technical Author for an initial 6-month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension. The role requires site-based work at least 1-2 days a week across various maritime locations, including Portsmouth, Filton, or Scotstoun. Four positions are available for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain technical documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to gather information.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Review and edit documentation for clarity and accuracy.
- Support the training of personnel on technical documentation.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Technical Author or similar role.
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Familiarity with technical documentation tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of maritime industry standards.
Salary (Rate): £50.05 Hourly
