Summary: The Technical Architect role focuses on leading the design and implementation of technical architecture for a telecommunications legacy upgrade project. Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake structured analysis of technical issues and translate them into technical designs.
- Consult on design and provide design patterns.
- Identify deeper issues that need fixing and look for opportunities to collaborate and reuse components.
- Align work with other architects and technical professionals.
- Track emerging issues, strategies, roadmaps, patterns, and technologies.
- Create and use different architecture representations for effective communication.
- Contribute to the work of others and motivate teams.
- Make architectural design decisions characterized by managed levels of risk and complexity.
- Support the development and implementation of a strategy or vision.
- Create technical designs characterized by managed levels of risk, impact, and complexity.
Key Skills:
- Experience in the telecom sector, particularly with voice/telecom/room booking systems.
- Familiarity with Azure Cloud.
- Enterprise level knowledge and TOGAF certification (for Senior TA).
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in making architectural decisions and managing risks.
