Southwark College, part of NCG Group (a leading national provider of education and training) is looking to appoint a Student Engagement Administrator to support curriculum staff to improve the attendance of students aged 16-18 years old, studying on Study Programme courses. The role will be based on the Southwark College site, close to Waterloo Station. The post requires the successful candidate to be able to work closely with Southwark College colleagues, Local Authorities and outside agencies to improve the attendance of Southwark College students. In this vital and rewarding role, you will be analysing student attendance data from register marks and them working with curriculum staff to set up strategies to improve attendance. This will include contacting students, parents and carers, arranging meetings between students and curriculum staff and working with the Assistant Principal 16-18 Study Programmes to implement the Southwark College Attendance procedure You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills along with strong organisation skills. You will be able to confidently communicate with parents and carers, alongside external agencies such as Local Authorities.
