Summary: The role of Senior Strategic Supplier Lead involves supporting a key client in a cost reduction program through supplier sourcing and management. The position requires extensive experience in IT services contracting and supplier selection programs. Candidates must be prepared to work in London at least two days a week and will need to undergo security clearance prior to appointment. The role is classified as outside IR35 and is available for immediate start until December 26.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support an ongoing cost reduction program and deliver a supplier sourcing/management workstream.
- Contract IT services and manage multi-sourced RFI/RFP supplier selection programs.
- Deliver and/or receive outsourced IT & IS services.
- Work with IT finance teams to support procurement to cost model outcomes.
- Manage strategic suppliers in IT, preferably with an IT background.
- Complete supplier RFI/RFP processes, including mergers and de-mergers.
- Integrate end-to-end IT operations and processes.
- Lead change in complex environments.
- Benchmark and optimize costs.
- Manage vendor onboarding and transition.
- Ensure effective program management and reporting standards for risks and issues.
Key Skills:
- Experience in contracting IT services.
- Professional experience in multi-sourced RFI/RFP supplier selection.
- Knowledge of ITSM and SIAM.
- Experience in supporting procurement to cost model outcomes.
- Background in strategic supplier management in IT.

LOCATION: LONDON (AT LEAST 2 DAYS PER WEEK).

Resource Capability & Experience Required:
* Experienced in the contracting of IT services
* Experienced professional in delivering multi sourced RFI/RFP supplier selection programmes
* Experienced in the delivery and/or receipt of outsourced IT & IS services
* Knowledgeable in ITSM and SIAM
* Experienced in supporting procurement to cost model outcomes / work with IT finance teams
* Experienced in Strategic Supplier manager in IT - background of working in IT preferable
* Evidence of successful completion of supplier RFI/RFP - mergers / de mergers style work.
* Experience of integrating end to end IT Operations / processes and ways of working
* Experience of leading change in complex environments
* Experience of benchmarking / cost optimisation / reduction
* Experience of vendor management onboarding / transition
* Experience of Effective programme management and associates standards for reporting, Risks and Issues
