Summary: The Strategic Finance Manager will play a crucial role in a significant period of change for a local authority client. This position involves close collaboration with the Deputy Chief Finance Officer, focusing on year-end accounts, audit processes, VAT, capital accounting, and treasury oversight. The role also includes managing a high-performing team and supporting strategic financial planning, particularly in relation to Local Government Reorganisation (LGR).

I'm currently working with one of our good local authority clients who are looking for a candidate to play a key role in a big period of change.
You’ll work closely with the Deputy Chief Finance Officer, leading on year-end accounts, audit processes, VAT, capital accounting, and treasury oversight, while managing a high-performing team and supporting strategic financial planning and being heavily involved with LGR.
