Summary: The Sr. Test Engineer (Defect Management / Triage) role requires a professional with prior AT&T experience to analyze and troubleshoot customer-focused defects. The position involves managing the complete defect life cycle, utilizing various monitoring and reporting tools, and collaborating with multiple application teams for effective resolution. Strong communication skills and technical expertise in application architecture are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- 3+ years experienced in defect Analysis, Triaging and Troubleshoot customer focused issues and exceptions.
- 3+ years experience with Strong Defect management skills to drive the resolution of defects during the testing and involved complete defect life cycle.
- Work with tools such as Kibana, ELK, Dynatrace, Splunk and other monitoring tools for capturing event data and package the issues for quicker resolutions
- Proficient on defect reporting tools like TDP, JIRA, SharePoint & AOTS & SQL query for defect creation, reporting & defect management.
- Ability to work with various ticket management systems such as (but not limited to) iTrack,AOTS, TDP,JIRA, Sharepoint
- Exposure to Salesforce environment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of defect life cycle and end to end defect management process
- Ability to work with multiple application teams for end to end defect resolution
- Strong communication and presenting skills
- Experience in documenting software defects, triage meetings, assigning and driving to resolution.
- Technical expertise to understand the application architecture and end to end data flow of the customer transactions to triage the production defects properly.
- Understanding of Testing domain with hands on experience.
- Automation expertise on SQL, Macro for creating dashboards for defect tracking, defect reporting, defect management and to automate various triaging processes.
