Summary: The role of Social Worker in the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) involves working with Conwy County Borough Council to manage referrals related to children and families. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, screen, and triage incoming referrals relating to children and families
- Analyse and review multi agency information to assess risk and need
- Make threshold decisions in accordance with safeguarding and child protection procedures
- Provide professional advice and support to the Team Manager
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies to ensure appropriate and timely outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely case recording in line with statutory and local authority requirements
Key Skills:
- Qualified Social Worker (Degree or equivalent)
- Current Social Care Wales registration (essential)
- Recent and demonstrable experience working within a MASH setting
- Sound knowledge of safeguarding thresholds, child protection legislation, and practice in Wales
- Strong analytical skills and confidence in multi agency decision-making

This role requires an appropriately qualified Social Worker with recent MASH experience and the ability to make timely and proportionate safeguarding decisions in line with Welsh legislation and local procedures.
