SOAR Developer

Summary: The SOAR Developer role is a 3-month contract position based in Reading, UK, offering a daily rate of £500 and classified as outside IR35. The position requires expertise in security concepts and hands-on experience with SOAR platforms such as Splunk Phantom, Siemplify, and IBM Resilient. The candidate will be responsible for developing SOAR solutions while leading and mentoring a team of developers. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop SOAR solutions using platforms such as Splunk Phantom, Siemplify, and IBM Resilient.
• Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering collaboration and a positive work environment.
• Identify and address complex technical challenges in SOAR solution development.
• Implement advanced threat detection and response methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with standard security frameworks such as MITRE and cyber kill chain.
• Utilize programming languages such as Python and JavaScript in development tasks.
• Maintain a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, including incident response and threat intelligence.
• Stay updated with cybersecurity certifications and best practices.
