Summary: The Site Manager / Defects Manager role involves overseeing post-handover works and defect resolution for a completed residential development in Cambridge. Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out detailed defect inspections across occupied units and external areas
- Record, track and manage defects through to completion
- Coordinate subcontractors to ensure timely and efficient remedial works
- Issue and manage permits to work, including roof access
- Oversee works relating to roads, external areas and permitted works
- Supervise roof maintenance and defect rectification
- Liaise with site teams, subcontractors and stakeholders to close out defects
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in a Defects Manager, Aftercare or Snagging role
- Strong background in residential construction (essential)
- Experience working on post-completion or occupied developments
- Ability to manage subcontractors and prioritise remedial works
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- SMSTS or SSSTS
- CSCS Card

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager / Defects Manager to support a completed residential development, focusing on post-handover works and defect resolution.
The project was completed approximately 12 months ago, and this role will involve identifying, recording, and coordinating the rectification of outstanding defects across the scheme.
