Summary: The Site Manager / Defects Manager role involves overseeing post-handover works and defect resolution for a completed residential development in Cambridge. Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out detailed defect inspections across occupied units and external areas
  • Record, track and manage defects through to completion
  • Coordinate subcontractors to ensure timely and efficient remedial works
  • Issue and manage permits to work, including roof access
  • Oversee works relating to roads, external areas and permitted works
  • Supervise roof maintenance and defect rectification
  • Liaise with site teams, subcontractors and stakeholders to close out defects

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in a Defects Manager, Aftercare or Snagging role
  • Strong background in residential construction (essential)
  • Experience working on post-completion or occupied developments
  • Ability to manage subcontractors and prioritise remedial works
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
  • SMSTS or SSSTS
  • CSCS Card

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager / Defects Manager to support a completed residential development, focusing on post-handover works and defect resolution.

The project was completed approximately 12 months ago, and this role will involve identifying, recording, and coordinating the rectification of outstanding defects across the scheme.

  • Carry out detailed defect inspections across occupied units and external areas
