Key Responsibilities:

  • Take full responsibility for the safe and efficient delivery of drainage works on-site.
  • Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Ensure works are delivered to programme and budget, with a strong emphasis on quality and compliance.
  • Manage daily site operations and provide regular reporting to the Project Manager.
  • Carry out regular site inspections and audits, enforcing health & safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate site documentation including RAMS, permits, and daily diaries.
  • Liaise effectively with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Site Agent (or Sub Agent ready to step up) on highways drainage projects.
  • Strong knowledge of highway drainage systems and construction techniques.
  • SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications are essential.
  • NRSWA Supervisor and/or Temporary Works Coordinator (desirable).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
  • Able to work independently and manage fast-paced site activities, especially during night shifts.
  • Full UK driving licence.

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Agent to oversee drainage works on a major highways scheme near Tewkesbury. This is a freelance role.
