Summary: The Service Manager for Residential Child Care in Doncaster is responsible for providing strategic leadership and management for services related to children in care. This role involves overseeing residential homes, ensuring high standards of care, and contributing positively to the leadership of Doncaster Children’s Services. Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure homes meet all statutory requirements and supervise home managers for positive outcomes.
- Act as the Responsible Individual for children’s homes as required.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment within residential homes for children, young people, and staff.
- Provide strategic management and professional advice to Residential Homes Managers on statutory and safeguarding matters.
- Develop and implement relevant action plans, policies, and statutory requirements effectively.

To provide effective leadership, co-ordination and management of our Children’s Homes. To ensure the highest possible standards of care and security for looked after children and young people. To make a positive and effective contribution to the leadership of Doncaster Children’s Services.
Duties and Responsibilities
