Summary: Service Desk Engineer contractor needed for a rapidly growing London Market Insurer, requiring motivated support engineers for both strategic initiatives and business-as-usual support. The role involves managing 1st and 2nd line requests in a high-performing team within a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have a proven track record in the financial services or insurance industry. This is an initial contract of 3 to 6 months with a requirement for on-site work in London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1st & 2nd line support to users across all levels of seniority.
  • Support all daily used communication tools such as Teams, WebEx, O365, AV & telephone.
  • Regularly report back to the IT team with updates/feedback, ensuring effective handover of incidents.
  • Manage mobile devices (MDM & MAM).
  • Provide regular feedback to senior management for projects, incident management & change management.
  • Perform general IT administration activities including joiners, movers, & leavers processes.

Key Skills:

  • Previous service desk support experience within the Financial Services/Insurance Industry.
  • Knowledge of DNS, DHCP & Group Policy.
  • Strong knowledge of O365, Windows 10, MS Office, Active Directory & Exchange Online.
  • Experience with TeamViewer & MimeCast.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure.
