Summary: The Senior Quantity Surveyor will oversee the commercial aspects of a £40M P-WAY and Signalling Package for a Rail Depot contract in East London. This freelance position requires strong commercial acumen and effective communication skills, with a flexible working approach. The role involves collaboration with the commercial team and reporting to the Commercial Manager. Previous experience in RAIL Signalling and P-Way is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing commercial personnel responsible for contract and subcontract administration, supply chain management, document control, cost control, commercial reporting, and planning.
- Cash management and liaison with the client's commercial/project team.
- Building and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
- Preparing and issuing valuations and reports.
- Ensuring compliance with company and contract requirements.

Hybrid working is available with 2 days per week from home.
