Senior GUI Java Developer required by large Investment Bank, based in London (Hybrid Home Working) to work within the Bank's Front Office eTrading Development Team to help lead the design and development of a high-performance, Real Time Limit Order Application within their global eFX trading platform. This application will serve as a critical interface for traders and risk managers, enabling precise control and monitoring of limit order strategies across global markets.
This is a senior-level role requiring deep technical expertise in GUI development, a strong understanding of trading workflows, and the ability to deliver under pressure in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
Candidates wishing to apply must demonstrate advanced knowledge around the skills mentioned below:
- Versatile JavaScript (TypeScript) developer with good software design principles,
- With 7+ years of relevant experience,
- Expert in React, Redux, RX JS, NPM/Yarn, webpack, CSS, HTML and the rest of web stack,
- Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, eg Azure DevOps,
- Good knowledge of design patterns and best practices
- Able to design and code the solution to complex and/or ambiguous business problem that requires the change in existing architecture or framework,
- Built complex, Real Time (event-driven) multi-modular single page applications,
- Optimized performance of latency sensitive systems,
- Delivered features across full stack,
- Preferably with Java as Back End technology stack,
- Writing efficient, clear code and able to articulate what has been built and why.
Functional skills:
