The Senior Group Financial Accountant must be an IFRS Accounting Specialist who excels in external financial reporting for large, multi-currency groups and thrives in a dynamic, matrixed environment.You will have experience in auditing, UK statutory reporting, and project management will be key as you coordinate with teams worldwide, offering crucial advice on technical matters and have the confidence to challenge accounting judgments and the skills to drive a robust controls and governance environment whilst possessing experience with large-scale financial consolidation systems.Qualifications & ExperienceFully-Qualified Accountant with strong IFRS knowledge and post-qualification experienceExperience of auditing / reporting in large multi-currency GroupsExperience of external financial reporting in the form of listed company annual reports or similar; experience in UK statutory reportingGood project management and communication skills, written and verbal, and used to working across a geographically and culturally diverse GroupAble to work in a complex matrixed environment, having to coordinate and advise teams from around the globe on technical matters.Comfortable challenging accounting judgements taken by the businessExperience of driving a controls and governance environment
