Summary: A leading industry name is seeking a qualified Senior Financial Analyst for a 6-month fixed-term contract within their finance team. The role focuses on financial management, requiring analytical skills to support strategic decision-making through accurate reporting, budget management, and forecasting. The position demands collaboration across departments while ensuring compliance with financial regulations and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to inform budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key trends and insights.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and project evaluations.
- Collaborate with project managers to create and monitor budgets, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
- Perform variance analysis to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior financial staff.
Key Skills:
- Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA).
- Minimum of 5 years of financial analysis experience, preferably in a high-level data-driven environment.
- Strong proficiency in financial modelling and MS Power Apps.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
