As a Senior Data Engineer, you will:

Skills:

• 10 years plus, experience in SQL development skills, ideally working with transactional systems and Business Intelligence implementations.
• 5 Years plus, experience working with Azure SQL DB, ADF and Azure Storage.
• 5 Years plus, experience working with Power BI, Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Experience with data lake and cloud data warehousing, especially Microsoft Fabric an advantage.
• Datamodelling and Design.
• Ability to consult with stakeholders and sensitively manage issues and expectations.
• Ability to independently lead investigations into critical data platform issues, articulate solutions, and resolve.
• Willingness to provide day-to-day support to stakeholders with a customer focused approach.
• Experience of development and testing life cycle to ensure minimal disruption to business-critical data platforms.
• Experience on analytics to drive insight.
• Technical documentation to support developments when required.
• Code version control via GitHub.
• CI/CD experience
• ETL/ELT development using tools such as SSIS or Azure Data Factory.
• Experienced with SQL Server and Data Warehousing.
• Experience working with large and complex datasets.
• Datamodelling and Design.
• Basic DBA skills.
• Experience with data lake and cloud data warehousing an advantage.
• Experience with Fabric or Databricks an advantage.
