Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable, high-performance data pipelines
- Lead on data architecture and best practice across cloud platforms
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate into technical solutions
- Drive adoption of Microsoft Fabric for data integration and analytics
- Build and optimise solutions across AWS and Azure environments
- Ensure data quality, governance, and security standards are met
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship within the team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision making
Key Skills:
- Strong experience as a Senior Data Engineer in enterprise environments
- Expertise in Microsoft Fabric (or strong exposure to modern MS data stack)
- Proven experience with both AWS and Azure cloud platforms
- Strong ETL/ELT pipeline development experience
- Proficiency in SQL and data modelling
- Experience with modern data warehousing and lakehouse architectures
- Strong stakeholder engagement and leadership skills
- Experience working within public sector or regulated environments desirable
