Senior CAS Modeller

Summary: The Senior CAS Modeller will join a Coventry-based OEM's vehicle concepts group, focusing on the development of new electric vehicle concepts. This role involves creating and releasing high-quality surfaces that reflect design intent and assisting in the integration of engineering and manufacturing attributes. The position offers a long-term contract with competitive pay and the opportunity to work within a state-of-the-art design studio. Candidates should have a degree and proven experience in digital surface creation using Alias.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and release surfaces that capture design intent with high quality.
• Interpret 2D sketches into 3D data for design iteration and approval.
• Integrate engineering and manufacturing attributes during surface creation.
• Sketch 3D surfaces to aid aesthetic design development.
• Create initial theme proposals for aesthetic and feasibility studies.
• Develop surfaces for engineering feasibility verification.
• Release surfaces for design approval and production activities.

Key Skills:

• Degree qualified or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Proven experience in creative and technical digital surface creation using Alias.
• Experience as a CAS Modeller.
