Summary: The role of Senior Azure Engineer/Manager at Harris Global requires an expert in Azure Landing Zones and Terraform, focusing on hands-on implementation and management of Azure services. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Azure architecture and services.
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform and GitLab automation pipelines.
- Deploy and manage mixed Linux and Windows workloads.
- Ensure security and compliance with Azure best practices.
- Optimize cloud costs and manage budgets effectively.
- Monitor and automate processes using Azure Monitor and Azure Automation.
- Manage Azure networking, including VNet peering and hybrid networking.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.

This is a hands on role and will be perfect for a seasoned Azure specialist.
Key experience will include:
- Azure Architecture: Deep understanding of Azure services, architecture and best practices.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency in tools like Terraform deployed via automation pipelines in GitLab.
- Linux and Windows Workloads: Strong experience in deploying and managing mixed Linux and Windows-based workloads and dual protocol Azure NetApp Files
- Security and Compliance: Knowledge of Azure security best practices, compliance standards and implementation.
- Cost Management: Experience in optimizing cloud costs and managing budgets.
- Monitoring and Automation: Skills in using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and automation tools like Azure Automation or PowerShell.
- Networking: Understanding of Azure hub and spoke networking, including VNet peering, private endpoints, VPN, Azure Network Firewall and hybrid networking.
- Collaboration and Communication: Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.
