  • Optimize cloud costs and manage budgets effectively.
  • Monitor and automate processes using Azure Monitor and Azure Automation.
  • Manage Azure networking, including VNet peering and hybrid networking.

Harris Global are currently on the lookout for a Senior Azure Engineer/Manager with expert experience of Azure Landing Zones and Terraform skills.

This is a hands on role and will be perfect for a seasoned Azure specialist.

Key experience will include:

  • Azure Architecture: Deep understanding of Azure services, architecture and best practices.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency in tools like Terraform deployed via automation pipelines in GitLab.
  • Linux and Windows Workloads: Strong experience in deploying and managing mixed Linux and Windows-based workloads and dual protocol Azure NetApp Files
  • Security and Compliance: Knowledge of Azure security best practices, compliance standards and implementation.
  • Cost Management: Experience in optimizing cloud costs and managing budgets.
  • Monitoring and Automation: Skills in using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and automation tools like Azure Automation or PowerShell.
  • Networking: Understanding of Azure hub and spoke networking, including VNet peering, private endpoints, VPN, Azure Network Firewall and hybrid networking.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.
