Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary liaison for external and internal auditors, ensuring smooth communication, timely deliverables, and efficient audit processes across funds and the management company.
  • Critically review and enhance investment fund financial statements and capital accounts under US GAAP, IFRS, Lux GAAP, and Dutch GAAP.
  • Partner with the Investment Accounting and Operations teams to advise on accounting treatments, disclosures, and control matters.
  • Maintain and improve the firm's internal control environment, including ISAE 3402 reporting, SOX controls, and the firm's Policy & Procedure Manual.
  • Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual investor and portfolio performance reports.
  • Collaborate with the CFO and cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives, business process enhancements, and new product developments.
  • Lead initiatives to automate and streamline assurance-related processes, driving scalability and operational excellence.

Key Skills:

  • Qualified Accountant (CA, CPA, RA, or equivalent) or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline (with above-average results).
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, ideally from a top-tier audit firm or a role with significant auditor interaction.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS (Lux or Dutch GAAP exposure a plus).
  • Solid understanding of internal control frameworks and assurance standards.
  • Advanced Excel skills with experience in Power Pivots, Macros, Power BI, and handling large datasets.

Role:

Audit & Assurance Leadership (30%)

  • Serve as the primary liaison for external and internal auditors, ensuring smooth communication, timely deliverables, and efficient audit processes across funds and the management company.

Financial Statement & Capital Account Review (20%)

  • Critically review and enhance investment fund financial statements and capital accounts under US GAAP, IFRS, Lux GAAP, and Dutch GAAP.

Accounting & Control Advisory (10%)
