Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage general ledger activities, journal entries, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare financial statements and support the month-end and year-end close.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX, tax, and statutory requirements.
  • Provide accounting insight to internal teams and auditors.
  • Coach and support junior accountants.

Key Skills:

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance; professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA) preferred.
  • 3-5 years' experience in a similar role, ideally within an international environment.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge (US GAAP & UK GAAP).
  • Experience with SAP and BlackLine is highly desirable.
  • Confident communicator with excellent Excel and ERP skills.

We're supporting a leading global travel brand in hiring a Senior Accountant to join their European finance team.

You'll take ownership of multi-entity ledgers, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with US GAAP and UK GAAP. The role involves month-end close, reconciliations, and supporting audits, as well as mentoring junior team members.
