Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage Physical Security Project enablement across Belfast Airbus Strategic and Tactical Projects.
  • Support the Physical Security Operations team with service delivery, including Security Operations, Security Systems, Fire Fighting, Emergency Response, and Fire Safety.
  • Assist in the continuous development of security service provision through audits and analysis to identify service improvements.
  • Help run regular meetings, track actions, and compile weekly KPI reports for the site.
  • Lead Capex on a project basis and act as the central coordinator for Active Risk Management (ARM).
  • Maintain EHS - 11 Point Plan and ensure timely completion of activities and payments to suppliers.
  • Prepare local communication packs and maintain documentation to comply with legal requirements.
  • Conduct audits on Airbus Security Partners and assist with security education and awareness training.

Key Skills:

  • Project Management experience.

You will report directly to: Head of Site Security Airbus Belfast.

Functions reporting to this position: - There are no functions reporting to this position.

Are you someone with a background in security and project support? This role is to assist the Head of Site Security to deliver a robust Security framework that protects Airbus from the prevailing threat environment whilst protecting Airbus’ bottom line. You will be able to demonstrate a solid background in business and project management with a passion for continual improvement as well as a robust adherence to policies and directives. You will be responsible for driving the physical security operations activities including self delivered and third party security solutions. You will be given the flexibility to work with the whole Physical Security Operations team to adapt these activities to best meet the company needs.

ABOUT US

The UK Physical Security Team is a close knit highly adaptable team who deliver subject matter expertise to our business and risk sharing partners. We are responsible for: The Security and Safety of our staff, contractors, visitors, sites, product and assets are our responsibility. This requires Emergency Planning for our industrial activities, including the provision of rescue service. The UK team consists of a number of staff with different specialisms. This role will give you the opportunity to develop your knowledge and understanding as you integrate with the Belfast Airbus Security team.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

  • Coordinate and manage Physical Security Project enablement across the Belfast Airbus Strategic and Tactical Projects.
  • You will be supporting the Physical Security Operations team with the delivery of all services to the business including, Security Operations, Security Systems, Fire Fighting, Emergency Response and Fire Safety.
  • Assist with the continuous development of the Security service provision to the business by checking, auditing, collating and analysing reviews to understand root causes of failures in order to identify service improvements. Implement those improvements and assess the results.
  • You will assist the Head of Site Security and the Site Security Manager with the running of the regular meetings, ensuring that all actions are captured on the trackers and actions are identified with owners and tracked through to resolution. You will be responsible for compiling the weekly KPI report for the site and ensuring that it is available prior to the weekly KPI meeting.
  • Lead Capex on a project basis.
  • Active Risk Management (ARM) central coordinator
  • You will be responsible for EHS - 11 Point Plan upkeep

OTHER DUTIES

  • Raising invoices and maintaining cost trackers.
  • Ensure that all activities are undertaken in a timely manner, that Airbus processes are followed and suppliers are paid within the set timescales.
  • Preparing local communication packs and the new HUB UK pages.
  • Maintain documentation (electronic and paper) to comply with all legal requirements.
  • Attending meetings and taking detailed minutes.
  • Maintain KPI data.
  • Data inputting to collaborative trackers, and outputting an analysis.
  • Conduct audits on Airbus Security Partners and third parties engaged by them - Process Confirmation.
  • Assist with the delivery of Security education and awareness training packages.

KEY SKILLS

You must have / demonstrate the following skills:

  • Project Management.
  • A background in security, administration or operational support.
  • Comprehensive experience in computer skills Microsoft office and G-SUITE.
  • Experience of auditing, process confirmation, root cause and analysis and continuous improvement is essential.
  • Ability to work flexibly and an adaptable approach to daily activities is essential.

DESIRABLE SKILLS

You should have or demonstrate ability of the following skills:

  • Experience with security systems installation project management.
  • Experience of managing a contractor is desirable but not essential
  • Understanding of KPIs and SLAs
  • 3rd level education in Project Management or evidence of relevant experience in security projects and performance

Required Certifications:

Security Clearances - desired but not essential - SC clearance will be required for successful candidates. Must be able to pass UK Civil Aviation Enhanced vetting and training. Access NI Check.
