SC Project Manager

Summary: The SC Project Manager role is a contractor position based in Norfolk, requiring full on-site presence. The successful candidate will manage various ICT infrastructure and application development projects through their full life cycle while ensuring compliance with project management methodologies. The role demands high-level security clearance and involves tracking project costs, managing risks, and reporting to senior management. The target project end date is set for May 31, 2026, with an immediate start date expected.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define project requirements and manage the agreement process with the Project Board.
• Deliver various types of projects through the full project life cycle, specifically in ICT infrastructure and application development.
• Utilize different project management methodologies such as Prince2, Agile, and Safe.
• Manage project delivery in partnership with customers and business lines, ensuring acceptance and handover to service.
• Gather status reports from team members and address issues as necessary.
• Establish and report project Key Performance Indicators to senior management.
• Manage project risks and create effective plans and risk assessments.
• Integrate financial data for multiple projects and track project costs.
• Ensure milestone achievements are signed by customers and relevant invoices are raised.

Key Skills:

• Experience in defining project requirements and managing project life cycles.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (Prince2, Agile, Safe).
• Strong risk management and financial tracking skills.
• Ability to gather and report status updates effectively.
• Experience in managing project costs and ensuring compliance with governance authorities.
• High-level security clearance or previous experience with security clearance processes.
