SC Project Manager

Summary: The SC Project Manager role is a contractor position based in Norfolk, requiring a candidate with high-level security clearance. The primary focus is on managing ICT infrastructure and application development projects through their full lifecycle, ensuring compliance with project management methodologies. Key Responsibilities:

• Defining project requirements and managing the agreement process with the Project Board.
• Delivering various types of projects through the full project lifecycle, specifically in ICT infrastructure and application development.
• Operating within defined working practices and ensuring compliance with project management policies.
• Gathering status reports from team members and addressing issues as appropriate.
• Establishing and reporting project Key Performance Indicators to senior management.
• Managing project risks and producing effective plans and risk assessments.
• Tracking project costs and supporting business units in meeting payment milestones.
• Ensuring milestone achievements are signed by customers and relevant invoices are raised.

Key Skills:

• Experience in defining project requirements and managing project lifecycles.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Prince2, Agile, and Safe.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage project risks and financial data integration.
• Experience in tracking project costs and ensuring compliance with governance authorities.
• High-level security clearance or previous experience with security clearance processes.
