Summary: The SC Cleared IT Programme Manager role involves leading the delivery of high-value IT initiatives for Defence and Technology clients, requiring proven programme leadership and stakeholder engagement skills. The position is based in Solihull with a hybrid working arrangement, necessitating SC clearance and experience in complex IT environments. The contract is initially for three months with potential for extension, and the role is classified as inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead full lifecycle delivery of large-scale IT programmes across internal teams and third parties
- Oversee scope, budget, milestones, and risks to ensure successful outcomes
- Drive stakeholder and supplier engagement at all levels
- Uphold high standards in project governance, reporting, and assurance
- Coordinate operational readiness and service transition
Key Skills:
- Current SC Clearance – essential
- Proven track record of managing complex IT infrastructure or integration programmes
- Strong leadership and communication skills within regulated environments
- Prior experience working with Defence or Technology clients
- In-depth understanding of systems integration and delivery lifecycles
- Prince2 Practitioner or APM qualified
- Military / Defence background
