SAP AMS Programme Manager

Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a SAP AMS Programme Manager based in France for an initial 6 month contract.

Job Spec:
We are seeking an experienced SAP AMS Programme Manager to lead and oversee the delivery of SAP Application Management Services across a complex enterprise environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing service delivery, driving continuous improvement initiatives, coordinating multiple workstreams, and acting as the senior point of contact between business stakeholders, delivery teams and third-party partners.

This is a key leadership role requiring strong SAP knowledge, programme management expertise, and experience managing global / European AMS environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the delivery of SAP Application Management Services across multiple SAP landscapes and business functions.
• Manage service providers, delivery teams and stakeholder relationships.
• Ensure adherence to SLAs, KPIs and service governance frameworks.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and service optimisation programmes.
• Oversee incident, problem, change and release management processes.
• Coordinate enhancements, minor projects and transformation activities within the AMS environment.
• Manage programme plans, budgets, risks, issues and dependencies.
• Facilitate governance meetings and provide regular reporting to senior stakeholders.
• Support SAP transformation initiatives including S/4HANA programmes where required.
• Ensure effective resource planning and capacity management across delivery teams.

Required Experience:

• Proven experience as an SAP Programme Manager, Service Delivery Manager or AMS Manager.
• Strong understanding of SAP Application Management Services (AMS).
• Experience managing large-scale SAP support and enhancement programmes.
• Knowledge of SAP governance, ITIL and service management frameworks.
• Experience working across multiple SAP modules including Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement or Manufacturing.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience managing global teams and third-party vendors.
• Ability to operate effectively within complex enterprise environments.

Desirable Experience:

• SAP S/4HANA programme experience.
• Experience managing offshore and nearshore delivery models.
• ITIL certification.
• SAP certification.
• Experience within a consulting or managed services environment.
