Summary: The Technical Specialist - Insurity Billing & Finance role is focused on configuring and integrating Billing and Finance modules within the Insurity platform. The position requires expertise in data integration from InsuranceNow to Insurity, ensuring efficient financial operations. Collaboration with various teams is essential to maintain compliance and scalability in financial processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Insurity configuration and insurance financial workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and customize Insurity Billing & Finance modules to meet business and regulatory needs.
- Design, implement, and maintain integrations between InsuranceNow and Insurity using APIs, middleware, or batch processes.
- Define and configure billing rules, payment schedules, delinquency handling, refunds, write-offs, and reconciliation workflows within Insurity.
- Collaborate with integration engineers and InsuranceNow SMEs to ensure accurate data mapping, transformation, and validation.
- Enable deployment of payment processing, ledger reconciliation, and financial reporting features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across billing, accounting, and financial workflows.
- Participate in unit testing, QA, and UAT cycles, validating configurations and integration flows.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for configurations, integrations, and operational procedures.
- Partner with finance, accounting, and IT teams to ensure smooth end-to-end operations.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience with the Insurity platform (Billing, Accounting, Finance modules).
- Strong understanding of insurance billing processes, reconciliation, and accounting principles.
- Hands-on experience with Insurity configuration tools and workflows.
- Proficiency with APIs, web services, JSON/XML, ETL, or middleware tools.
- Solid knowledge of SQL/relational databases for reporting and troubleshooting.
