Summary: The Storage Brocade Engineer role focuses on supporting the Block Storage environment with expertise in Dell EMC, Pure Storage, and Brocade/Cisco SAN technologies. The position involves building and managing enterprise-grade SAN environments, providing operational support, and leading migration projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Build and support enterprise-grade SAN environments.
- Manage and configure Brocade/Cisco SAN Switches, including:
- ICL setup
- Secure configurations
- Fabric and zone merges
- Switch and fabric build-outs
- Security policy enforcement
- Provide 3rd Line operational support and lead migration projects (eg, Global SAN refresh).
- Design and deliver strategic enterprise storage infrastructure.
- Handle product life cycle management and ensure compliance with IT policies and standards.
Key Skills:
- Expertise in Brocade Gen6/Gen7 FCIP Switches.
- Strong knowledge of SAN switch architecture, zoning, and secure fabric design.
- Proven experience in enterprise storage environments.
- Ability to resolve complex issues and high-severity incidents.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
