We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Java Developer to join our team on a 6-month contract, working fully remotely. This role is inside IR35 and offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced Agile environment alongside talented professionals dedicated to quality and innovation.

About the Role
As a key member of our team, your primary responsibility will be delivering high-quality user stories in an Agile, multi-disciplinary environment. You'll be involved in every stage of service delivery, from configuration and deployment to monitoring, using the latest DevOps and development tools. Beyond your Java expertise, you ll bring a well-rounded skill set that includes problem-solving, business analysis, quality assurance, and application design.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver high-quality code in an Agile environment.
- Work hands-on across the DevOps lifecycle, including configuring, deploying, and monitoring applications.
- Engage with team members and stakeholders across the organization to drive continuous improvement.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and community-building efforts to shape and enhance our delivery practices.

Desired Skills & Experience
- Java (version 8 or above)
- Quarkus
- Spring Boot
- Maven
- Apache Camel
- Strong Testing
- Experience with Message Queuing(e.g., RabbitMQ)
- Knowledge of Microservices Architecture
- Understanding of CI/CD Pipelines (experience with Jenkins or GitLab CI is beneficial)
- Docker image creation experience
- Kubernetes (experience with kubectl and/or Rancher is highly desirable)
- Familiarity with DevOps practices (desirable, not essential)
