Senior Software Development Engineer (Ruby on Rails Contractor)

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services in Ruby on Rails.
• Develop user-facing features using React and TypeScript, and write efficient MySQL queries.
• Implement advanced targeting logic to deliver in-product messages and essential product features.
• Take full ownership of projects from concept to production, ensuring fast, quality delivery.

qualifications:

Required Skills

9+ years of professional experience in web development.

Strong expertise in Ruby on Rails, React, and TypeScript.

Deep understanding of MySQL schema design and performance tuning.

Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Proven ability to work independently and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience with Github.

Experience in building and shipping features/products.
