Senior Scripting Consultant

Summary: The Senior Scripting Consultant role focuses on leveraging scripting languages and automation tools to enhance cloud infrastructure management. The position requires strong technical expertise in various scripting languages and hands-on experience with VMware and CI/CD tools. This is a full-time remote position aimed at improving operational efficiency through automation. The consultant will work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, and Ansible for automation tasks.
• Implement and manage workflows using vRealize Orchestrator (vRO).
• Understand and work with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) stack appliances.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform.
• Collaborate with CI/CD pipelines, particularly Jenkins, to streamline deployment processes.
• Apply configuration management and drift remediation strategies effectively.
• Work independently in a fully remote environment.

Key Skills:

• Strong experience with scripting languages: PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, Ansible.
