Summary: The role of SC Cleared Delivery Manager involves overseeing a major government project for a global consultancy, primarily working remotely with occasional in-person requirements. The position demands a strong background in various technology platforms, particularly AWS and related tools, alongside significant leadership and financial management skills. The candidate must possess SC clearance or be SC clearable, and be adept at managing multiple delivery teams within an agile framework. Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the Delivery Manager for one or more delivery teams through the complete delivery life cycle (prepare, deliver, improve).
- Create and maintain an overall delivery plan that highlights forecasts/estimates and confidence levels.
- Balance multiple priorities and coordinate across delivery teams to deliver value.
- Engage with senior leadership and establish stakeholder networks.
- Leverage budget and prioritize business needs through strong financial management skills.
- Translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders using experience in technology delivery.
- Identify, understand, and analyze key metrics to improve team delivery.
- Define and work within the constraints of non-functional requirements (NFRs) such as cost, scalability, and availability.
- Work within an agile context utilizing continuous integration (CI).
- Articulate logical designs and understand their translation to physical infrastructure.
Key Skills:
- SC clearance or SC clearable.
- Experience with AWS, Cloud Formation or Terraform, Nginx, and Linux administration.
- Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Git, Jira, and Confluence.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and Hashicorp tools (Packer, Consul, Vault, etc).
- Strong financial management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate across teams.
- Experience in agile methodologies and CI.
- Strong communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to create and maintain delivery plans.
- Understanding of governance within a delivery context.

We are heading up a recruitment drive for a global consultancy that require a SC Cleared Delivery Manager to join them on a major government project that's based remotely.
Must have:

Collaboration tools (Git, Jira, Confluence, etc)
Be SC Clearable

Skills:
Ability to balance multiple priorities and coordinate across delivery teams to deliver value
Working at senior leadership level across the organisation, establishing stakeholder networks and actively engaging other senior leaders
Strong financial management skills in order to leverage budget and prioritise business needs
Creating and maintaining an overall delivery plan that highlights forecasts/estimates and confidence levels, whilst taking into account multiple individual delivery plans
Using experience of technology delivery and technical practices to help translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Applying previous experience to identify, understand and analyse key metrics in order to improve team delivery
Sufficiently understanding an organisation to identify the right people who can make the right decisions and at the right time, defining what good governance looks like within a delivery context
Acting as the Delivery Manager for one or more delivery teams at the same time through a complete delivery life cycle (prepare, deliver, improve)
Working within an agile context with the use of CI
Articulate a logical design, and understand how this translates to physical infrastructure
Experience with defining and working with the constraint of NFRs such as cost, scalability, availability
