SAP PP / DS Specialist - Pharma Domain

Summary: The SAP PP / DS Specialist role is a remote position focused on managing supply chain processes within the pharmaceutical industry. The candidate will leverage their extensive experience in production planning and SAP S/4 Hana implementations to gather requirements, create user stories, and oversee testing. This position requires collaboration with stakeholders to ensure that business needs are met through effective solutions. The role is contract-based for a duration of over three months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define business needs.
• Provide business input in workshops and process walkthroughs.
• Translate business requirements into user stories.
• Ensure stories are clear, testable, and aligned with scope.
• Review functional designs with IT/functional teams.
• Approve requirements/design and validate proposed solutions.
• Define test scope and scenarios.
• Review and approve test scripts.
• Assist in drafting stories, test scripts, and SOPs.
• Maintain traceability matrices and requirement logs.
• Attend design and testing meetings to capture action items.
• Follow up on deliverables and dependencies.
• Track progress of business deliverables.
• Maintain dashboards or trackers for business activities.

Key Skills:

• 8-10 years of experience in Production Planning and Supply Chain Management.
• Experience with SAP and S/4 Hana implementations.
• Background in the Life Science/Pharmaceuticals industry.
• Strong requirement gathering and documentation skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into user stories.
• Experience in testing oversight and validation.
• Proficient in maintaining traceability matrices and requirement logs.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
