Summary: The SAP PO/BTP Integration Developer will play a crucial role in migrating approximately 400 SAP Process Orchestration integrations to the SAP Business Technology Platform Integration Suite as part of a digital transformation initiative. This position requires hands-on development and support for both new integrations and existing processes during the transition. The role is contract-based with a duration of 3 months and potential extensions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute the migration of ~400 SAP PO integrations to BTP Integrations, prioritizing ~50 critical integrations by the end of Q1.
  • Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end integration flows using SAP PO/PI and SAP BTP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, API Management, Event Mesh, Connectivity Service).
  • Support integrations across SAP S/4HANA, ECC, WMS, Manhattan Active, and other third-party systems.
  • Perform hands-on coding, mapping, and configuration of adapters, APIs, and integration content packages.
  • Partner with internal business and technical teams to understand functional requirements and translate them into scalable integration designs.
  • Provide supplemental PO support to the existing team, resolving tickets and maintaining uptime during peak workload.
  • Ensure all integrations follow best practices for performance, security, and monitoring.
  • Deliver clear documentation and knowledge transfer for ongoing support and future enhancements.

Key Skills:

  • 8+ years of SAP integration development in enterprise environments.
  • Strong, hands-on experience with SAP Process Orchestration (PO/PI) - adapters, mappings, and configurations.
  • Proven experience developing with the SAP BTP Integration Suite, including Cloud Integration, API Management, Event Mesh, and Connectivity Service.
  • Experience in migration projects from PO to BTP or similar transformation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA to WMS and SAP S/4HANA to Manhattan Active integrations preferred.

Overview
Mako's client is undergoing a major digital transformation, migrating from SAP Hybris on-premise to SAP Commerce Cloud (Version 2). As part of this initiative, approximately 400 existing SAP Process Orchestration (PO) integrations will be migrated to the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Integration Suite, enabling a fully cloud-native, scalable integration landscape.
The Senior SAP PO/BTP Integration Developer will take a hands-on development role, focusing on both new BTP integrations and day-to-day PO support during the transition period. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can work independently, and delivers reliable, well-documented integration solutions that drive business continuity during and after migration.
