Summary: The SAP Finance Architect (Group Reporting) is responsible for leading design workshops to optimize SAP Finance processes and serving as the solution architect for Group Reporting. This role involves configuring the Universal Journal for integrated financial reporting and enhancing Journal Entry workflows. The architect will collaborate with stakeholders on financial consolidation and provide strategic advice on project-based financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead design workshops to assess and optimize SAP Finance processes.
- Serve as the solution architect for Group Reporting, ensuring a cohesive consolidation and reporting framework aligned with global standards.
- Configure and optimize Universal Journal (ACDOCA) for integrated financial reporting.
- Design and implement ICMR processes, including data source mapping, matching rules, and tolerance thresholds.
- Enhance Journal Entry workflows with a focus on compliance, automation, and approval structures.
- Collaborate with business and finance stakeholders on month-end close, intercompany processes, and financial consolidation.
- Guide testing, deployment, and hypercare activities in partnership with technical and functional teams.
- Provide strategic advice on project-based financial operations such as client billing, revenue recognition, cost allocations, and intercompany transactions.
