Summary: The role of SAP S/4HANA Customer Master Data & Hierarchy Consultant focuses on leveraging techno-functional expertise in the Order-to-Cash (O2C) process to manage customer master data and hierarchies. The consultant will be responsible for configuring customer data, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure effective data management across SAP modules. This position requires a deep understanding of customer data configuration and integration within SAP environments. The role is fully remote and is offered as a 6-month contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and maintain Customer Master Data including account groups, partner functions, and customer classifications
  • Design and manage Customer Hierarchies, including hierarchy categories, assignment rules, and business impact on pricing and reporting
  • Support and analyze end-to-end O2C processes across SAP SD, FI, and MM modules
  • Troubleshoot data and system issues using SAP tools and debugging techniques
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and ABAP developers to deliver solutions
  • Create and maintain functional and technical documentation (FS, TS, BRD, process flows)

Key Skills:

  • Strong experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA Customer Master Data
  • Hands-on expertise with Customer Hierarchy configuration and transactions

Rate: $65.00 Per hour W2 + benefits


Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Customer Master Data & Hierarchy Consultant with strong techno-functional expertise in the Order-to-Cash (O2C) process. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in customer master data configuration, customer hierarchies, and data flow across SD, FI, and MM modules, along with the ability to support data analysis, troubleshooting, and documentation.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and maintain Customer Master Data including account groups, partner functions, and customer classifications

Data & Technical Expertise:

  • Strong knowledge of SAP tables: KNA1, KNB1, KNVV, KNVH, KNVP, KNVK

  • Ability to analyze and trace data across:

    • Sales Documents (VBAK, VBAP)

    • Billing Documents (VBRK, VBRP)

  • Experience with data analysis, reporting, and troubleshooting using table relationships


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with S/4HANA migration projects (Customer Data Conversion/Cleansing)

  • Familiarity with LSMW, BAPI, IDocs for data migration and integration

  • Exposure to SAP MDG (Customer Domain)

  • Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments


Nice to Have:

  • Strong documentation skills using tools like Visio, Confluence, etc.

  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
