Summary: The role of SAP CFIN Functional Consultant & Solution Architect involves leading SAP Finance transformation projects within the Life Science industry. The consultant will be responsible for implementing SAP S/4 HANA CFIN solutions and conducting workshops with business and process architects. The position requires extensive experience in SAP Finance and strong customer-facing skills. This is a contract role based in India, primarily remote with occasional travel to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead SAP Finance transformation projects in the Life Science industry.
- Implement at least 2 end-to-end SAP S/4 HANA CFIN solutions.
- Conduct FITGAP analysis and workshops with business and process architects.
- Provide expertise in SAP Finance and Controlling, including niche solutions.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Skills:
- 8-12 years of relevant experience in SAP Finance.
- In-depth knowledge of CFIN as a system of record and data mapping frameworks.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience with SLT, AIF, and data replication strategies.
- Chartered Accountant/BE/Finance MBA with a strong academic background.

Our client are a global SI and have won a major SAP Finance transformation in the Life Science industry. We need experts with the following experience:
- 8-12 years of relevant experience plus Domain experience
- At least 2 end-to-end SAP S/4 HANA CFIN implementations preferably with System of Record
- Broad SAP Finance knowledge covering Finance and Controlling and few niche/Industry-specific solutions
- Should have good customer facing experience
- Ability to do FITGAP analysis and lead workshops with Business and Process Architects
In-depth understanding of
- CFIN as a system of report and record, data mapping framework, master data, integrations with source systems
- SLT, AIF, Initial Load vs Real-Time Replication, Error handling, custom derivations
- Reconciliation Strategy, cutover, statutory and legal reporting from CFIN
- Overall technology landscape for mid-to-large-sized organizations with MDG, Saas Apps and other satellite systems in Finance (Reconciliation, Cash Mgmt. Taxation, Consolidation, Group Reporting, FP&A etc.)
- Strong cross-functional integration knowledge
- Excellent Presentation skills and Communication skills both verbal and written
- Chartered Accountant/ BE / Finance MBA background with top academic pedigree from a Tier 1 / reputed institution
- Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
- Self-starter, ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
