Summary: The role of Remote Contractor Psychologist at Mission Critical Psychological Services involves conducting remote psychological evaluations for military, law enforcement, and first responders in potentially hostile environments. The position requires independent contractors to ensure individuals are mentally fit for duty through Pre-Mission, In-Mission, and Post-Mission assessments. Candidates must possess a PsyD or PhD and an active psychologist license for Virginia or PSYPACT, along with relevant experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Must have excellent writing skills, with the ability to translate sound clinical judgment into clear and appropriate recommendations for initial or continued employment.
- Complete and submit all required documentation expeditiously and accurately in the required format.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Will primarily be working with patients in the Virginia area.
Key Skills:
- PsyD or PhD from an accredited doctoral program.
- Active Psychologist license for Virginia or PSYPACT.
- At least 1 year experience working with military, law enforcement, security, government, or first responders.
- Certification by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) heavily preferred.
- Member of one of the following preferred: International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), Police and Public Safety Division, American Psychological Division 18, Society for Police and Criminal Psychology (SPCP).
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams).
- Must be a US citizen and reside in the United States.
