Summary: The Release Manager (Network/Infrastructure) is responsible for leading the end-to-end release management lifecycle for integration programs, focusing on network and infrastructure cutovers. This role involves planning and executing complex network migrations and system integrations while collaborating with various technical teams. The position requires a strong background in release management and network infrastructure, ensuring compliance with ITIL processes and driving continuous improvement in release processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end release management lifecycle for integration programs, with a focus on network and infrastructure cutovers
- Plan, coordinate, and execute complex network migrations, data center moves, and system integrations
- Develop detailed cutover plans, runbooks, rollback strategies, and risk mitigation plans
- Collaborate with network engineering, infrastructure, application, security, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration
- Govern release schedules, dependencies, and environment readiness across multiple systems
- Conduct release readiness reviews, go/no-go decisions, and post-implementation validations
- Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies impacting integration timelines
- Ensure compliance with change management and ITIL processes
- Drive continuous improvement in release processes, automation, and tooling
- Communicate effectively with business stakeholders, program managers, and technical teams
Key Skills:
- 8+ years of experience in Release Management / Integration Management
- Strong experience in network and infrastructure domains (LAN/WAN, cloud, data centers, firewalls, load balancers)
- Proven experience managing large-scale network cutovers and integration releases
- Deep understanding of enterprise infrastructure environments (on-premises and cloud)
- Experience with change management, incident management, and ITIL frameworks
- Ability to manage complex dependencies across multiple teams and systems
- Strong knowledge of risk management and contingency planning
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
