Summary: The Project Manager III is responsible for overseeing contractor support for specific projects, acting as the primary contact for government managers and client agency staff. This role involves planning, managing project support, developing project plans, monitoring workflow, and ensuring quality assurance. The position requires effective resource allocation and budget management while maintaining security protocols for project materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for government managers and client agency staff.

Primary responsibility for all contractor support provided to a particular project or project(s). Serves as the Governments primary point of contact for all support provided to the project(s), and as such will have frequent contact with the cognizant Government manager(s) and client agency staff. Responsible for planning and managing all support for the project, including development of comprehensive project plans to include both long and short-range goals and milestones, monitoring workflow, providing progress reporting to the Government, identifying and assigning staff and reviewing work of subordinates, budget development and tracking, coordinating technical/data processing support, and obtaining other required resources. Ensures that proper security is maintained overall project materials in accordance with required security procedures. Performs an active quality assurance role to ensure high quality work is delivered on time and in accordance with contractual specifications.
Demonstrates experience successfully managing projects of similar size and complexity, as well as experience managing quality assurance, resource allocation and providing support to less experience project managers. Project Management Certification highly desired PMP Certification or equivalent required.
