Summary: The role of JD Edwards PM / Business Systems Analyst involves leading a high-visibility ERP migration initiative while performing hands-on business analysis. The candidate will be responsible for project coordination, gathering requirements, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure project success. Strong JD Edwards migration experience and excellent communication skills are essential for this position. This is a contract role with a remote working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project coordination efforts for a JD Edwards migration initiative, helping drive timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder alignment
- Gather, document, and validate business requirements through BRDs, process flows, and related functional documentation
- Partner with business and technical teams across finance, procurement, and distribution to identify needs, gaps, and process improvements
- Support lift-and-shift migration activities, customizations, integrations, and issue resolution across multiple workstreams
- Communicate updates, risks, and next steps clearly while helping keep the project on track in a fast-paced environment
Key Skills:
- PMP certification required
- 10+ years of experience in Project Management, Business Systems Analysis, or hybrid PM/BA roles
- Proven experience supporting JD Edwards implementations, upgrades, or migration projects
- Strong experience creating BRDs, process flows, requirements documentation, and stakeholder-facing deliverables
- Excellent communication skills with strong critical thinking, and the ability to build rapport with business stakeholders
