Summary: The role of Strada Pay Implementation Consultant involves leading payroll project implementations for a prominent organization in China. The consultant will serve as the main client-facing functional lead, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities include capturing payroll configuration details, validating solutions, and providing knowledge transfer for ongoing maintenance. This position requires a strong understanding of payroll compliance in China and excellent stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main client-facing functional lead, supporting kick-off and leading functional requirements discussions.
  • Work closely with the client to capture payroll configuration details to finalise Strada Pay workbooks.
  • Identify deviations from Strada Pay standards, both product and process-related.
  • Collaborate with Strada’s Product team to complete payroll solution configurations.
  • Validate payroll solutions and integrations during project testing cycles.
  • Perform data validations in the payroll system.
  • Coordinate defect resolution with relevant teams.
  • Provide knowledge transfer to application services for ongoing payroll solution maintenance.
  • Input updates to the project plan and assist with data mapping across systems.
  • Support UAT and parallel testing processes, ensuring data validation across all systems.
  • Define and resolve workarounds as necessary.
  • Oversee knowledge transfer to Delivery and Operational Payroll teams.

Key Skills:

  • Previous experience in a functional consulting or analytical role within a payroll outsourcing or payroll software environment.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll and compliance for China (including tax, legislation, etc.).
  • Familiarity with the payroll implementation project lifecycle.
  • Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to articulate and document client requirements, while finding creative and simple ways to address client issues or risks.
  • Proactive problem-solving ability.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, global environment with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
